Let the diet begin!

I know I am always on some form of a diet but today begins my new crash diet for the next week. My mission is to lose 5-10 lbs by Friday. But I'm not just starving myself....I will eat AND workout. I went today (hooray!) and hopefully I'll get up tomorrow before work (YES I actually have to work a Saturday shift 1-10) and pump some iron. I really enjoy working out but getting there is the problem. I also enjoy laying on the floor or typing on the computer. But once I get my ass motivated I am very happy to be there and I work up a good sweat. weekend is the BIG river trip and I'm fat. Hence the diet. Why can't I just float the river with sweats?
