Need more cupcake pictures and results?

Check out Jennie's blog to see more cupcake goodness:

Cupcake Smackdown 1.0

Yummmm.... the Cupcake Smackdown at the One 2 One Bar was quite the event! It was super crowded the first 2 hours. The patio on the roof was packed with kids, dogs and adults... all experiencing cupcake bliss. See below for a peak of the madness that was #cupcakeriot.

We got quite a few nasty looks and eye rolls for these 2 pictures. So worth it!! (FYI - No tongues actually touched the monster cupcake.)

I have been

a very bad blogger. Please forgive? My last post was AGES ago. Don't even know where to begin.... But let's try!

***Heather's wedding was beautiful.

Negril was amazing and Tensing Pen was the most relaxing resort ever.

All of my pictures are on Facebook, so I will try and add my favorites in the next few days. My wedding photographer, Sarah Q, was also my sister's! We got to see a sneak peek of some of the pictures she took and they are FANTASTIC, as expected. She hasn't posted the pics to her blog yet, but once she does - it will be on here too.

***Last Saturday I participated in my first adult sport tournament: Kickball! It was really, really hot and fun. Austin Sport and Social Club provided the shirts and beer for the event. Our team was composed of Hyatt employees, Jake and Matt. We were bad, really bad. I can't wait to try this again when the weather is much cooler.

***Lindsay and I went to the Flavor Tripping event at The Belmont. Honestly, my feeling about this were a bit mixed. We did get a $10 discount for being Elite Yelpers, hence the tickets were $30 each. Ouch, that is a lot of money for a miracle berry. Basically, the most intense flavors belonged to the lemons, limes and pickles. I did enjoy some chili powder, tabasco and balsamic vinegar. The drinks were not free - but there were taste tubes with interesting concoctions like grapefruit and vinegar. I did enjoy that part but... overall, $30 was a bit much for the "experience." My taste buds were only whacked out for under 2 hours. I wish it would have lasted longer.

I forgot my camera, DOH, so these were snapped on my iphone. Speaking of, I have been forgetting my camera recently, and missing out on great photographs. I've decided to keep it in my big purse from now on.

***Today I am planning on attending Cupcake Smackdown 1.0 at the One2One Bar. I WILL bring my camera and document the fun and cupcakes of course. My friend Jennie is hosting this event and talk around town has been really positive.

How was that? Good? Happy now? You better be. I promise I won't stray for long.
