time to go crazy!

and make this blog my wedding planning blog. ok, i love the knot but i really am hesitant to create a bio with my saved pictures. i figure if i have to work at stealing these then i don't want others taking my ideas. yes that makes no sense whatsoever.

anyways in case you don't know i am happily engaged as of july 20th. sadly i have never even considered planning a wedding so i'm pretty behind on everything. i have purchased almost every wedding magazine at heb this month. plus i bought a really nice book called emily post's wedding etiquette guide and this really neat planner. both seem pretty good. i'm still reading and absorbing them.

i have also started a spreadsheet of all the venues we are interested in. talk about hard work. this bitch was difficult to create but its very extensive. i'm still collecting emails from venues with price lists and information. barr mansion is already booked for oct. 08. can you believe that? i thought i was early with a oct/nov 08 wedding. i guess not. now i'm slightly worried. when matt returns from booker on sunday we will start doing some tours and visits next week. we more waiting around.
