Tonight is packing night. We are getting everything ready for tomorrow afternoon. Matt gave me some birthday gifts tonight...they were very special and perfect for yours truely! One of those fabulous gifts is a new kick-ass memory card for my camera. And you know what that means........tons o pics for this weekend! Good thing we are all photo whores.

I am so excited. I cannot wait! I wish I were leaving today. I hope JJ, Jake and Matt are not gassy up there and back.

I wasn't lying

about hating my job. I went to the ER yesterday for heart palpatations/panic attack/stress again. I really need a new job STAT. At least I get a few days off.....but I had to cancel my bday bash at Hula Hut tonight. Doc says I need to take it easy and no alcohol for a few days. That's ok....I can do that. I'm still excited for next Thursday!! We leave after work and arrive that night...at the glorious Surfside Motel on da beach mon. Hooray!

Fun times

Last night was a hoot. Everyone had lots to drink and eat. I made a few appetizers and once again, surprised myself by not burning down the kitchen. I still need work though.

It's hot outside. One of my many weather progs says it will be 104 today but I think that's bullshit. I believe we should definately go visit Norm today. I will make him something special too. I'm nice like that.....sometimes.

Good morning!

Ah yes...it's Saturday morning and I am up and moving. It's nice waking up without a hangover and looking forward to the day. Yesterday after work I was looking to pound a few beers but I had a late-night errand to do and could not start drinking at 4pm. I ended up laying off the sauce all night and watched Sin City with Matt. I liked it. It was visually stimulating and violent.

I plan on cleaning this morning then heading on over to my wonderful friend Norm's casa/pool for a few hours of sun and relaxation. Mmmmmm.

I found out Matt's bff, (best friend forever) Martin, will be staying with us today/tonight. Martin hasn't been to the Shadow Valley palace yet. This should be an interesting night with Kim/Cade and Cara/Stewart coming by tonight for poker and bacon-wrapped shrimp.

So not hot.

Super Dieters Tea

This herbal tea works. Unfortunately, you shit 4-7 times a day but......I feel clean and have lost around 5lbs. I know I know it's bad for you and I need to eat better and work out more (thank you Matt) but it's always nice to have one of those quick-fix methods to speed things along.

My pants don't fit. I need new ones. Please buy me new pants for my birthday. Thank you.

I'm bored

and so not motivated to do anything this morning. I have done a load of laundry but that is about it. Matt is helping Cade move today so I'm at home...bored. I need to get my ass off the computer and get it over to Barton Springs. Ok, maybe I'll go do that. Yah...that sounds good.

How sad. It's a strange feeling when someone you've seen all your life on TV dies. I always enjoyed Mr. Jennings and felt remorse when he annouced his diagnosis 4 months ago. I talked to my mom today and she is very sad about this. I think it scares her to hear he was going through the chemo treatment and the cancer defeated him regardless.

Thank God she is finished with chemo though. I hope her surgery and radiation are problem-free.

It was a success!

I am so relieved the shower is over. Everybody said they had a super fun time and Kim loved it. I am so glad she was impressed. It was a lot of hard work but worth it to see all the girls having a good time.
